Manuel was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 2009, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Syracuse University in Upstate New York, where he was a multiple Dean’s List inductee and a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. Manuel went on to attend the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. While attending law school, Manuel clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Carmen Cerezo, volunteered at the University Legal Clinic, and won the 18th Miguel Velazquez Intramural Debate Competition. He was conferred the degree of Juris Doctor in 2012.

Manuel passed the Puerto Rico bar exam in 2013 and began his attorney career as in-house counsel for a large bank. In 2015, Manuel moved to Tampa with the goal of practicing law in the Sunshine State. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016 and
started representing plaintiffs and policyholders from pre-litigation to trial.

While Manuel has spent most of his career as a plaintiff’s lawyer, he dedicated several years of his practice to representing defendants. In fact, he worked at two national defense firms representing some of the largest insurance companies in the country. Today, Manuel uses his well-rounded perspective to obtain the best possible outcomes for his clients.
