Tina

Tina Ann Dampf is an accomplished attorney with over 24 years of experience litigating cases in Florida. Throughout her career, Tina has built a strong reputation for her skill in handling complex litigation and her in-depth knowledge of insurance law. She began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, where she gained valuable courtroom experience prosecuting cases ranging from misdemeanor offenses to first-degree felonies. This foundational experience honed her trial skills and instilled in her a passion for litigation that continues to drive her practice today.

For nearly two decades, Tina worked on behalf of insurance carriers, defending them in a wide range of disputes. Her work included litigation involving property damage claims, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and wrongful death, automobile and watercraft accidents, and other high-stakes liability claims. As an in-house counsel for Progressive Insurance, she provided legal defense in first-party property disputes, managing numerous cases and gaining unique insight into the inner workings of insurance carriers. Her experience also includes leadership roles at prominent defense firms, where she represented insurers in complex civil litigation and helped craft defense strategies for high-value cases.

With her deep understanding of insurance law and extensive trial experience, Tina provides strategic, results-driven representation to her clients. She has tried numerous cases to verdict and handled every aspect of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations to appeals. Now, as a member of Murray Law Group, Tina is proud to focus her practice on representing policyholders in disputes with their insurance companies. She advocates for homeowners, business owners, and other policyholders, guiding them through the claims process, resolving coverage disputes, and ensuring they recover the insurance benefits they are rightfully entitled to.

Tina’s work is rooted in a commitment to standing up for those who have been mistreated by their insurance carriers. Drawing on her extensive experience in defense, she is adept at anticipating insurers’ tactics and building robust cases that protect her clients' interests. Tina specializes in property damage claims, focusing on securing favorable outcomes for policyholders who have suffered losses due to hurricanes, fires, water damage, and other covered perils. Additionally, she handles construction defect and injury claims, assisting those who have been harmed by the actions of others.

Tina earned her undergraduate degree cum laude from Clemson University, where she majored in Sociology. She remains a passionate supporter of Clemson University and enjoys attending football games and alumni events. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where she excelled as a member of the Moot Court Team and gained early trial experience as a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office in Tampa.

Outside of her legal career, Tina is deeply involved in her community. She is passionate about animal conservation and has volunteered extensively with local charities and rescue organizations. She met her husband while volunteering at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo in 2006, and together they continue to support wildlife conservation and species survival initiatives. In her free time, Tina enjoys traveling, exploring creative hobbies, and spending time with her husband and their beloved animals.
