Litigation Paralegal

Who we are:

Murray Law Group is a Florida litigation firm that handles first part insurance claims, construction defect claims, real estate fraud claims, HOA and Condo Association Claims.

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with at least 3 years of insurance litigation experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as liaison with clients, experts, adjusters, and other parties.
  • Review, organize, and maintain all case materials.
  • Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, other legal documents, and memoranda.
  • Coordinate the collection, review and production of documents and discovery requests.
  • Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial.
  • Assist with trial preparation including preparation of exhibits, witness binders and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial and court hearings.
  • Analyze and prepare damages summations and settlement packages.
  • Preparation of Civil Remedy Notices & Notices of Intent for Litigation.
  • Calendaring and scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, and other meetings as necessary

Skills and Experience:

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Litigation Experience (First Party Insurance Preferred but not Required)
  • Detail orientated and committed to professionalism
  • Team oriented and takes a proactive approach to handling matters
  • Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Downtown Tampa)

Education & Training:

  • High School Diploma (minimum)
  • Associate degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies (preferred)
